I am Deborah Meddins, a Family Celebrant based in Herefordshire, supporting individuals and families through life’s most meaningful moments, from love and celebration to loss and remembrance. With over 25 years’ experience in the corporate world, alongside my work as a Certified Public Speaker and Grief Coach, I bring calm, compassion, and clarity to every ceremony I create. I specialise in funerals and memorials, weddings and vow renewals, baby naming ceremonies, and family celebrations, offering a truly personal approach that reflects each story with care and dignity. I believe ceremonies should feel authentic, inclusive, and true to the people at their heart. I work closely with families, gently guiding them through the process and helping them find the right words when they matter most. My work is rooted in empathy, creativity, and a deep commitment to supporting local families through both love and loss.

Whether you are celebrating love, welcoming a new life, marking a milestone, or saying goodbye to someone dear, I create ceremonies that are personal, heartfelt, and truly reflective of you.

I believe every ceremony should tell a story, your story. There is no script or set format, instead I take time to listen, understand what matters most, and create something that feels natural, meaningful, and right for you and your family.

From weddings and vow renewals to baby naming, adoption, funerals, and memorials, each ceremony is carefully crafted with warmth, care, and attention to detail. I also offer support with writing vows, eulogies, and personal reflections, helping you find the words when they are hardest to say.

My role is to guide and support you, creating a calm and reassuring space so you can focus on what truly matters, being present in the moment.

It is a privilege to be part of these important times, and my aim is always to ensure you feel heard, supported, and confident that your ceremony reflects your story with honesty and care.
